Are you interested in helping Nightfever? We are looking for you!
Nightfever evenings are organised solely by volunteers and there are many different tasks for which we need support.
Here are a number of suggestions of how you can help:
- Set up: this involves some heavy lifting of sound equipment earlier on in the day of the event and at the end of the night
- Decoration: preparing lanterns, candles, prayer baskets etc in the church
- Catering: preparing refreshements for the volunteer
- Liturgy: serving at mass, music
- Street mission team: meeting people in the street and inviting them in
- Welcome Team: meeting and greeting people as they enter/leave the church
- Intercession: praying for the evening
Do consider coming along and getting involved! Immediately after the Nightfever Mass, we have an introduction and briefing session so that you can sign up for different areas. This briefing will also include practical guidance on how we meet and welcome passersby into the church.
